Frost
We received a light frost on Saturday morning when the temperature dropped below 40 degrees. Seems to have burned the winter squash down to the lower leaves. Struggling tomatoes seem to have survived. Okra is fine. Autumn greens were not touched. Now if it would rain, we could really get going for fall crops.
This blog is great! I just discovered it, by accident, on a search for, of all things, Nelson carrots. I've only read a couple of posts and I'm totally revved up. Here is where I'll come whenever I feel the balance between doing and thinking about it shifting to the thoughtful side. Just reading those planting lists with all those row feet gets my adrenaline pumping...too bad I've got three months to go before starting onions. The farm site is cool, too. Very simple and straightforward, and I like how the blog is the newsletter. Thanks!!

Oh, but I didn't realize how infrequently you posted. Oh, well! :)
